Alien Abortion - The New Moral Argument

After watching the first episode in the V: Final Battle series where there is a roundtable discussion by the human resistance on one of their own being impregnated by a reptilian visitor in disguise, I was amused to hear arguments for and against abortion. So would we change our minds if an alien abortion was the only answer?
The Catholic Priest at the table, the one who fires weapons oddly enough, makes the argument that a hybrid human-alien would be a way of bringing two species together to live in peace. “Slap, slap.” There are several errors in his thinking, the first of which is that The Visitors are here to eat us humans. Do you think their natural biological impulses are going to be cured by an interspecies freak?
And of course his thinking does not take into consideration the choice of the teenager in question, Robin Maxwell. It is her body, not a thing simply made for peace negotiations. Should she have to give birth for the greater good of interspecies politics? Maybe it would be noble to do, but I don’t think any woman should be forced to give birth to a half alien, no siree.
On the other side of the debate were Robert Maxwell, the Father of Robin, as well as resistance leaders Julie Parrish and Mike Donovan who repeat the above argument of personal choice as well as the health implications of giving birth to a foreign species. That alien hybrid could kill the mother during birth.
But then maybe the whole decision should be left in “God’s” hands as he is the one who created The Visitors. Or maybe Robin’s impregnation is a punishment for her sin of premarital relations with an extraterrestial–an act that was outlawed but not recorded in The Bible (it was written on the first set of Ten Commandments Moses brought down, but then got broken when he threw a hissy-fit).
Sigh, I don’t think we’ll ever know the moral or legal answer. What we really need is for those mothers abducted by aliens everywhere to come forward and testify before congress. They’ve been secretly giving birth all this time if you weren’t aware. What did you think was going on with Attention Deficit Disorder? That’s not a real psychosis. Their behavior results from not being fed live mice.
If you read to the end of this post, I apologize for the wake-up call, but please begin discussing this issue with your friends and family and lets get the public consensus. going.
Sounds pretty deep… well, I’ll support a woman’s right to choose not to birth an alien-human bastard child anyday.
First, I find it delightful that someone else has watched the V series. I loved it when it was on TV and have the video. Alright then, with that being said you do propose some interesting arguments for both sides. Me, the girl decides to have or not to have.
yes, alien-abortion is like murder. But, murdering for a greater good should be revised.
